Being a Bi-lingual child has its perks such as understanding two languages, allowing you more ways to communicate with others. But growing up, I only believe that being Bi-lingual wasn’t worth it due to the constant bullying I’ve endured during middle school. I wanted to be apart of the student life at my school, so I’ve mainly used English to talk to people. I stopped speaking Spanish just so that I can fit into the Student life and have friends. Afterwards, I’ve slowly chosen English as the main language of communication as it was more common than Spanish.
